Let's face it, we all love a slim wallet because we hate the ugly bulge and discomfort a fat wallet creates. However, we gain some and lose some. While our wallets are slim, we compromise by not carrying too many coins, or even none at all.
The world is moving so fast that transactions are becoming cashless. Before the day comes when you can pay everything with your thumbprint, we still need to carry cash and are bound to receive loose change through the day. Here's 3 ways you can deal with coins as someone carrying a minimalist wallet.
While some may find it a hassle, carrying a coin pouch can be very practical. It is easier to access your coins and having it separated definitely is a plus point for the OCD child in you. There are very stylish ones you can get in the market (Etsy has some really good ones) or you can simply DIY a pouch with unwanted fabric.
If carrying an extra item is too much hassle, consider carrying a minimalist wallet that can carry coins. It does not have to include a dedicated coin pouch. A makeshift, temporary compartment to hold your loose change till you get home, that is good enough! Each time you end the day, put all the loose change into a piggy bank and you will be surprised at how much you saved with this new habit.
When all else fails or if you just cannot be bothered, just make sure you have pockets. Reliable pockets that will not give way!
